In Tim’s most recent mailer, 8″x10″ with LA County Firemen on the back, it says: Tim Shaw – Keeping Republican Values Strong. We assume he knows what he is doing as he sent it to Republican house holds.
This guy really has no shame and is the perfect example of the type of person that turns the word politician into a four letter, wash your mouth out with soap kinda word. We wonder part of the Boy Scout oath incorporates lying to people about who and what your real intentions are.

Tim has sold his Republican values for political expediency. The short cut in life never pays dividends and its only reward is hard lessons.
Most of Tim’s endorsements from big name Republicans were before they new of his selling out of his own party ideals. He has gone about getting his “ticket punched” in La Habra because when Tim can’t beat em Tim joins em.
He was a rubber stamp on the Finance Ad Hoc Review Committee which was the precursor to him becoming the Treasurer of the Yes on G Committee – Utility Tax that was voted down by the people. Then for making his “Bones” the council voted him onto the Community Services Committee. He later supported the Hotel Tax, and now the Sales Tax Measure-T.
We guess that was the unspoken quid-pro-quo when he made his Faustian deal and now he can’t escape his past misdeeds
But he has never come out as a true Republican to protect the people from Taxes. Even his committee name is a joke – “Taxpayers for Tim Shaw”. This is the same deceptive type of campaigning that is insidious amongst the anointed power structure in this city and is typified in the previous post about bogus slate mailers used by candidates.
